Privacy policy
Last updated July 2026.
We’re a small, self-run product and this page is written in plain language rather than boilerplate. It is not a substitute for legal advice — the owner has flagged this page for real legal review, not just AI drafting.
What we collect
An account: your email address and a password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text). Your inventory data: names, notes, tags, and any photos, receipts, or documents you choose to attach to a box, bag, place, or item. And basic operational logs (timestamps, IP address) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
What we don't do
- We don’t sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.
- We don’t run ads, and we don’t use ad-tracking pixels or third-party trackers.
- We don’t read or use your inventory contents for anything other than showing them back to you.
- We don’t look inside your account's data except to fix a bug you've reported, respond to a legal request, or with your explicit permission.
What we use, minimally
The site sits behind Cloudflare, which sees basic connection metadata (IP, request path, timing) as part of routing traffic and can provide aggregate, anonymized traffic analytics — the same infrastructure-level visibility any web host has. We don’t layer additional analytics or tracking scripts on top of it.
Where your data lives
Your account data and file attachments live on infrastructure we operate. Photos are automatically compressed on upload but are otherwise stored as you uploaded them — we don’t analyze, tag, or run recognition on them.
Your data, on request, always
Export your entire inventory as JSON or CSV at any time from inside the app — this is a permanent feature, not a trial perk, and it still works if your account is read-only due to a storage lapse. Want your account and its data deleted entirely? Email us and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't quietly narrow the promises made above.
